About The Position
Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Early Head Start program (ages 0-3) at our Pottstown Center. This role provides flexible support across two classrooms (Infant and Toddler) helping ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.
Requirements
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (or willingness to earn it with a free course)
- 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred
- Strong teamwork and flexibility
- Ability to keep information private
- Basic knowledge of childcare rules
- Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Support two Early Head Start classrooms throughout the day
- Assist with daily routines, including caregiving and active supervision
- Step into the classrooms to maintain ratios and continuity of care
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
