About The Position
Early Head Start Family Service Worker FAMILY SERVICE WORKER Pay: $37,500- $55, 000 Annually Reports to: Family Service Manager Terms of Employment: Full-time (12 months -230 day) Evaluation of Performance: Performance will be evaluated annually by the Family Service Manager and/or Director Burke County Public Schools (BCPS) is a rural, dynamic, and diverse school district dedicated to fostering academic excellence, equity, and opportunity for all students. With a strong commitment to education, we are seeking a forward-thinking, compassionate, and experienced individual to join our Early Head Start team as a Family Service Worker. The Family Service Worker is responsible for expediting a collaborative case management delivery system by empowering home-based families, (and center based families) with developing their own realistic goals and objectives, and encourages and supports children's learning, which is individualized and age-appropriate. The Family Service worker will work with center-based families, and home-based families (within their home environment). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
