About The Position
Thrive Childcare is a Christian childcare center seeking full-time and part-time teachers to work with children from 6 weeks old through 12 years old. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Pay is based on education and experience.
Requirements
- Work with children from 6 weeks old through 12 years old.
- Be a Christian role model.
Responsibilities
- Reinforce weekly plans and help implement age-appropriate curriculum (lesson plan) to nurture and stimulate all domains of children’s development in their care.
- Be a Christian role model for the children and families.
- Provides a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children’s learning and growth.
- Provide responsive care to all children.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and respect for the child's background by incorporating cultural, linguistic, and familial values and beliefs into the childcare program.
- Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents/ caregivers.
- Assures a healthy, safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
- Participate in ongoing in-service and educational development opportunities.
