About The Position

The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Twaddler classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting young children as they develop communication skills, confidence, independence, and positive relationships. Our Twaddler classroom serves children as they transition from infancy into toddlerhood. This exciting stage is filled with language development, growing independence, social exploration, and early learning experiences. Our teachers create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to discover the world around them.

Requirements

Must be Infant/Toddler and Preschool Qualified according to Maryland licensing requirements
Must meet all Maryland licensing and background check requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for early childhood education and child development

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
Support language development, early communication skills, and positive peer interactions
Guide daily routines including meals, diapering, transitions, and rest periods
Build trusting relationships with children and families
Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
Observe and document children's developmental progress
Partner with fellow teachers to ensure a consistent and positive classroom experience
Follow all Maryland childcare licensing and health and safety requirements
