About The Position
Chambliss Center for Children is seeking caring and energetic teacher/teacher assistants for their Tumblers classrooms, which cater to children aged 14-24 months. This role offers an opportunity to build a career in early childhood education with hands-on experience and training. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts from either 9am to 6pm or 7am to 4pm.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Keep children safe and engaged during play, learning, and daily routines.
- Lead fun activities that help children develop cognitively, physically, and socially.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and volunteers.
- Monitor children's health needs and provide assistance as required.
