About The Position

Our Edina child development center is hiring flexible early childhood teachers to teach in multiple classrooms throughout their school. If you have a passion for working with young children and thrive on variety, this would be a great opportunity for you! By working in more than one classroom within our school, float teachers become beloved members of our school community. These positions are versatile roles that enable teachers to acquire a wide range of early childhood experiences by working with different age groups and children.

Requirements

• Must be able to start work within the next 3-4 weeks.
• A CDA, college degree (associates, bachelors, or masters) or a minimum of 16 semester credits towards an early childhood education or an ECE related field. College credits are required.
• Ability to work 4 - 10 hour shifts (Monday-Friday).
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background study.

Responsibilities

• Teach in multiple classrooms throughout the school.
• Work with different age groups and children.
