Requirements

  • Experience teaching or assisting in a daycare or pre-school environment required, or commensurate education.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs and participate in physical activities
  • Successful completion of DHR suitability, background check, drug screen and physical

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or Child Development Associate credential (CDA) , or working toward equivalence.
  • Experience teaching or assisting pre-school special needs children preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the teacher with implementing the lesson plans and curriculum
  • Communicate with parents and share important milestones in their child’s day
  • Ensure a safe and consistent child development environment
