About The Position
NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is seeking a Summer Camp Associate to join their team. The organization's mission is to instill a lifelong love of learning through an engaging curriculum in a safe, dynamic, and supportive environment. They pride themselves on fostering a sense of belonging, learning from diverse teammates, and encouraging pride in their work.
Requirements
- Available from June through September 4th (with the opportunity to extend into the school year for all local and qualified candidates).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of teaching, camp, or enrichment experience with children ages 2-6 years.
- Well-spoken and comfortable speaking with parents and caregivers.
- A lifelong learner.
- 12p-6p, 7:30a-3:30p, OR 8a-5p Availability.

Responsibilities
- Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to daily protocols.
- Implement the unique, creative, and original curriculum to bring learning to life in a thematic and magical setting.
- Support each student in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way.
- Facilitate children’s activities, serve food, and ensure that all transitions run smoothly with the help of an enthusiastic team.
- Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing the classroom’s day-to-day activities.
