What the Role Looks Like Support teachers in Early Head Start and Head Start classrooms. Help maintain daily routines and a safe, engaging environment. Assist with caregiving routines such as feeding, diapering, and toileting. Step into classrooms that may include challenging behaviors, using patience and positive guidance. Communicate openly and honestly with teaching teams and supervisors. Adapt to different classrooms and age groups as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, calm under pressure, and comfortable supporting children with diverse developmental and behavioral needs.
