About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to support Preschool and Kindergarten students in Melvindale, MI. This full-time, school-based position focuses on helping children develop foundational communication skills that support social-emotional growth, early learning, and school readiness. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to provide engaging, play-based therapy services in a supportive early childhood environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with young learners and making a meaningful impact during critical developmental years. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting young children and their developmental growth

Nice To Haves

  • Michigan Department of Education certification or eligibility preferred
  • Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
  • Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language evaluations for early childhood and special education students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and developmental milestones
  • Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions using play-based and evidence-based approaches
  • Manage a caseload of 30-35 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote communication development across settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide meaningful recommendations to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive therapy environment for young learners
  • Support students with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, language, social communication, and AAC needs as appropriate
