About The Position

The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to young children with disabilities. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with families and other professionals, and creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for assessing student progress, adapting curriculum, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching license with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
Knowledge of child development and special education principles.
Experience working with young children with disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
Experience with specific disabilities common in early childhood.
Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish).

Responsibilities
