About The Position

The Goodhue County Education District (GCED) provides collaborative educational services to six member school districts in Goodhue County, Minnesota, supporting approximately 7,000 students. GCED employs over 150 staff members and is known for its strong partnerships with school districts and community service agencies to deliver specialized and innovative programming. Core services include a Federal Setting IV Special Education program, an 18–21 Transition Program, Title III/Multilingual Learner programming, Alternative Education programs, and regional support for Perkins/Career and Technical Education. GCED also operates 5RiversOnline, a comprehensive online learning program, and provides specialized services such as Early Childhood Special Education and low-incidence disability support, including Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Blind/Visually Impaired services. This is a long-term substitute position for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher, projected to be from September 28, 2026, to November 30, 2026. The role will be county-wide and involve working as part of a team of Early Childhood/Birth-to-3 educators.

Requirements

  • Minnesota Licensure (or ability to obtain, including an OFP) is required.
