About The Position

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Preschool Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The assignment and location are to be determined. This role involves developing and implementing an instructional program to provide the best possible education for each student with disabilities within the preschool setting.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach Early Childhood Special Education - Birth to Age 5
• Possess ability to effectively assess student learning and use results to plan and implement appropriate instruction
• Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance learning
• Utilize Google Drive for instructional purposes, collaboration, and managing coursework
• Create and maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of all students
• Communicate effectively with strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Engage and collaborate effectively with parents and families
• Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to a positive team environment

Responsibilities
