About The Position

Soccer Shots New Orleans is seeking an energetic, positive, and passionate Early Childhood Soccer Coach to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a meaningful career in early childhood development, coaching, and leadership. The coach will create fun, memorable experiences for children ages 18 months to 8 years old through Soccer Shots sessions at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area. The position involves leading sessions, creating a safe and encouraging environment, delivering the curriculum, and building positive relationships with children, families, and partners. The role also includes supporting coaching operations by assisting with daily team needs and using organizational tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children ages 18 months–8 years old (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, recreation, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No Sports Experience Required!

Responsibilities

• Lead 30-35 Soccer Shots sessions each week for children ages 18 months–8 years old at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
• Create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful.
• Deliver the proven curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and school partners.
• Work alongside the Executive Director and Coaching Support team.
• Assist with daily team needs.
• Use tools like Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team success.
