About The Position

Musicologie Junior is a joyful, play-based early childhood music program designed to nurture creativity, connection, and a lifelong love of music. We are looking for an energetic, musical, and heart-centered teacher to lead our new location in Lakeway/Bee Cave. The program aims to change lives through music, starting with the youngest learners.

Requirements

• Strong musician with vocal ability.
• Reliable, warm, organized, and enthusiastic.
• Natural communicator who shines with both kids and parents.
• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Guitar, ukulele, or piano accompaniment ability preferred.
• Experience with early childhood or group teaching.
• Degree in music or early childhood education.
• Experience performing, leading groups, or working in creative environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead 40 minute interactive music classes for children ages 0-5 and their grown-ups.
• Sing, move, dance, and play simple instruments.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and playful environment for every family.
• Support our vision of music for every child by building community through classes and events.
