About The Position

New Horizon Academy is seeking professionals with experience in childcare or a similar industry to participate in their Early Childhood Managerial Training (ECMT) program. This program is designed to prepare individuals for management roles within their centers. The ECMT program includes rotations at various centers and the corporate office, working with mentors and trainers. Training covers key areas such as curriculum execution, licensing, ProCare (enrollment/tuition program), and parent/customer relations. Upon completion, ECMT candidates receive priority consideration for management positions like Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Director. All employees are expected to foster a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment that enhances self-concepts, encourages independence, and respects individuality. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and capable of leading in a diverse environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed early childhood setting.
  • Meet Program Administrator qualifications for NAEYC accreditation.
  • Knowledge of Rule 3, NAEYC, SEEDS Ez-Write and Creative Curriculum.
  • Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
  • Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
  • Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
  • Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
