About The Position

New Horizon Academy is seeking professionals with experience in childcare or a similar industry to engage in a formal training program geared toward a management role at one of their centers. The Early Childhood Managerial Training (ECMT) program includes rotations at their centers and corporate office with various mentors and trainers. Trainees will receive instruction on key areas such as curriculum execution, licensing, ProCare (enrollment/tuition program), and parent/customer relations. Upon completion, ECMT candidates receive priority consideration for management opportunities like Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Director roles. All employees are expected to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment that enhances self-concepts, encourages independence, and respects individuality. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and able to lead in a diverse environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed early childhood setting.
  • Meet Program Administrator qualifications for NAEYC accreditation.
  • Knowledge of Rule 3, NAEYC, SEEDS Ez-Write and Creative Curriculum.
  • Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
  • Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
  • Meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
  • Satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
