About The Position

At The Staff Pad, we’re proud to partner with a respected non-profit healthcare system in beautiful Helena, MT, to hire a caring and reliable Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the Pre-School Room who is excited to create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for children ages 2–5. Requirements

  • Two years of experience in a licensed early childhood program required
  • 32 hours of ECP training or Level 2 on the ECP Registry required
  • At least 18 years old
  • AHA Heartsaver CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification (within 30 days of hire)
  • Current on the Montana Early Childhood Project Practitioner Registry (within 15 days of hire)
  • Infant Safety Essentials (within 30 days of hire)
  • Health and Safety Required Professional Development (within 90 days of hire)
  • Complete mandatory 16-hour annual training and maintain required hospital and State Licensing immunizations

Responsibilities

  • Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschool-aged children (2–5 years)
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's growth
  • Supervise children, guide positive behavior, partner with families, and collaborate with staff to create a high-quality early learning experience
  • Promote curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and school readiness while maintaining licensing, health and safety, and program quality standards
