About The Position

At The Staff Pad, we’re proud to partner with a respected non-profit healthcare system in beautiful Helena, MT, to hire a caring and reliable Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the Pre-School Room who is excited to create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for children ages 2–5. Requirements

Two years of experience in a licensed early childhood program required
32 hours of ECP training or Level 2 on the ECP Registry required
At least 18 years old
AHA Heartsaver CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification (within 30 days of hire)
Current on the Montana Early Childhood Project Practitioner Registry (within 15 days of hire)
Infant Safety Essentials (within 30 days of hire)
Health and Safety Required Professional Development (within 90 days of hire)
Complete mandatory 16-hour annual training and maintain required hospital and State Licensing immunizations

Responsibilities

Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschool-aged children (2–5 years)
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's growth
Supervise children, guide positive behavior, partner with families, and collaborate with staff to create a high-quality early learning experience
Promote curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and school readiness while maintaining licensing, health and safety, and program quality standards
