About The Position

Huntington Beach City School District is seeking dedicated and caring Early Childhood Instructional Assistants to join its preschool team. The position is 10 months, five hours per day, Monday through Friday. Schedules are either 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., depending on site needs.

Applicants must submit a complete EdJoin application with the required attachments by the posted deadline. Documents must be uploaded through EdJoin; emailed, mailed, and faxed documents are not accepted. New hires must provide immunization records for Tdap, measles, and pertussis.

Upon appointment, applicants must have completed at least six units of early childhood education or child development core classes at an accredited college or university. They must continue in an educational program each semester until completing twelve core units covering Child Growth and Development; Child, Family, and Community; and Programs/Curriculum.

Requirements
