About The Position

The Township is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the positions of Early Childhood Educators in our Before and After School Program St-Jean/La Croisée, Saint-Joseph, and St. Mother Teresa Daycares. The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security, and their well-being.

Requirements

Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification
Valid and negative criminal record check – Vulnerable sector (within 6 months)
Must be 18 years or older
Communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy and understanding of children’s needs
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Work in cooperation within a strong team environment
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written French (St-Jean/La Croisée and Saint-Joseph)
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English (St. Mother Teresa)
