Requirements

Valid British Columbia ECE License
Criminal Record Check
Valid Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR
Up-to-date immunizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use computer systems for documentation and classroom operations
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated initiative both inside and outside the classroom

Nice To Haves

Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs

Responsibilities

Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Implement a Reggio Emilia approach to learning
Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Conduct attendance and health & safety checks
Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists
Assist children through classroom transitions
Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops
