About The Position
A lovely family in Sunny Isles, FL is seeking a Private Tutor/Educator to support the early learning and development of their two and a half year old daughter. This bright and highly advanced little girl is already fluently bilingual in Spanish and English and engages in full conversations well beyond her age level. The family is looking for a well rounded educator who can introduce age appropriate math concepts and broader early learning enrichment for a gifted toddler, rather than focusing on language instruction. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and creative professional to help shape the intellectual growth of an exceptional child. The schedule will be Monday through Friday for about 2 to 3 hours per morning. This position starts as soon as possible, and the official schedule will be set when the right candidate is located.
Requirements
- Background in early childhood education strongly preferred
- Experience working with gifted or advanced young children
- Warm, patient, and creative teaching style
- Comfortable designing individualized curriculum for a toddler
- Private household experience
- Valid US work authorization
- Strong verifiable references
Responsibilities
