About The Position

Kids & Company is seeking two Full-Time Toddler Educators and On-Call Supply Early Childhood Educators to join their St. Albert - Grandin team. Requirements

• Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification.
• Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B.
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 3 months).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift and/or support up to 45 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with toddlers is considered an asset for Toddler Educator positions.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children.
• Foster children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Complete daily documentation, health checks, and classroom records.
• Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards.
• Support daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with families and external professionals, including Speech and Occupational Therapists.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as required.
