About The Position

We are looking for one passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our Summer Camp team! This is a temporary contract role running from July 2 to August 28, 2026, and requires a valid Alberta ECE license (Level 1, 2, or 3). We are also actively hiring on-call Supply ECEs to support our team throughout the summer. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while creating a fun, safe, and engaging summer experience for children.

Requirements

ECE Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3 – Alberta required)
Valid Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 45 lbs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
Comfortable using computer systems for documentation and classroom operations
Strong collaborator and team player
Ability to take initiative both in and out of the classroom
Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being while fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Maintain attendance and complete health and safety checks
Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as needed
Support children through transitions in and out of classrooms
Ensure all classroom ratios are met
Participate in team meetings and workshops
