About The Position
Easterseals Florida is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant Teacher (Floater) to join our team at The School for Limitless Learning. This private school utilizes a play-based curriculum and an inclusive approach to education for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities. The Early Childhood Educator Assistant Teacher (Floater) is dedicated to providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child
- Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
