About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking passionate, Permitted Early Childhood Teachers to make a difference in children's lives across several key California communities, with opportunities available in Los Angeles. The position involves designing and providing fun, age-appropriate curriculum that fosters the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development of young children. Teachers will observe, assess, and document individual student development and learning to inform instructional planning and communicate progress to parents. Additionally, they will implement positive classroom management strategies and behavioral interventions to ensure a nurturing and engaging learning experience.

Requirements

Must possess the required ECE units and commit to obtaining their Early Childhood Education permit within 6 months of the start date.
12+ Early Childhood Education units, qualifying for Associate-Level Teacher status or higher
6+ Infant / Toddler units (Preferred)
Current Certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher or Assistant
Minimum 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or Head Start program
Must be able to successfully clear the TrustLine background process
