About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking an Early Childhood Education Forensic Expert to investigate injuries, incidents, and abuse in early childhood facilities and/or home-based programs. This role involves analyzing site procedures, writing scientifically sound reports, and providing expert testimony. The expert will delve into the 'why' behind incidents by critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and 8+ years of Director/Administrator experience in a public, corporate, or private early childhood care facility.
  • Deep understanding of supervision practices and policies in childcare centers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education; Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
  • Member of an organization with an early childhood focus (ex. NAEYC or NAFCC).
  • 8+ years of day-to-day Director/Supervisory experience in a facility for early childhood care.
  • Teaching experience with early childhood (including infant-toddler) populations.
  • Experience investigating incidents related to child injury and staff misconduct (including suspected physical/sexual assaults or child abuse).
  • Current & relevant training/certifications in early childhood care and education.
  • In-depth knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, best practices, and current trends.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Clean background screen.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with private, faith-based, in-home childcare, summer camp, school-age care, elementary and/or special education populations is a plus.
