About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education professional to train as a Forensic Expert. In this role, you will investigate injuries, incidents, and abuse within early childhood facilities and home-based programs. You will analyze site procedures, applying your knowledge of childcare standards and practices, and be responsible for writing scientifically sound reports and providing expert testimony. This position offers a unique opportunity to delve into the root causes of incidents by critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care, utilizing your extensive training, experience, and critical thinking skills. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • 8+ years of Director/Administrator experience in a public, corporate, or private early childhood care facility.
  • Deep understanding of supervision practices and policies in childcare centers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Member of an organization with an early childhood focus (ex. NAEYC or NAFCC).
  • 8+ years of day-to-day Director/Supervisory experience in a facility for early childhood care.
  • Teaching experience with early childhood (including infant-toddler) populations.
  • Experience investigating incidents related to child injury and staff misconduct (including suspected physical/sexual assaults or child abuse).
  • Current & relevant training/certifications in early childhood care and education.
  • In-depth knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, best practices, and current trends.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Clean background screen.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Ability to drive.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with private, faith-based, in-home childcare, summer camp, school-age care, elementary and/or special education populations.
