About The Position
Eagle’s Wing Child Care and Education Programs is looking for a passionate assistant teacher to join our infant and toddler teaching team! Eagle’s Wing is a highly diverse childcare center on the UW-Madison campus that provides early-childhood, 4K, and school-age programs for children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. We offer a high quality, child-initiated and play-based learning environment, and are known for our multicultural, international community. Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year working in full day play-based Early Childhood Education environments and completion of the Early Childhood Courses "Introduction to the Child Care Profession" and "Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care" OR Successful completion of Associate’s Degree or higher, in Early Childhood Education.
Nice To Haves

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Assists with basic technical and administrative classroom support
- Maintains the safety and physical well-being of children in a designated classroom
- Assists with the planning and facilitation of classroom programming and classroom coordination and organization for a early childhood education facility according to established curriculums
- Updates and organizes individualized and developmental educational plans for children
- Documents effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to relay pertinent information and provide updates of child activities per established guidelines and regulations
