Early Childhood Development Educator - Infant/Toddler
About The Position
The Bennett Family Center, on the University Park campus, is seeking a candidate for an Early Childhood Development Educator – Intermediate Professional (working with children 6 wks to 3 years old) committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for young children and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining high quality classroom standards in a laboratory setting, coordinating and implementing an innovative curriculum model with a team of colleagues, establishing and maintaining relationships of cooperation and respect with all co-workers, supervisors, and families, providing oversight and training of interns and student teachers in early childhood education undergraduate programs, and maintaining standards in accordance with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and PA Keystone STARS 4 quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Child Development (CDA) Credential
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
- National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR)
- Health physical with TB test

- Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years.
