Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
About The Position
This role supports the daily care and learning of children at a child care center. The Assistant Teacher helps create a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and engages with children to support their development. The position includes training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics, as well as opportunities to develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. The employer seeks energetic, dependable individuals with a passion for working with children. Compensation is $19–$20 per hour, based on position, education, and experience. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
