About The Position

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers to support multiple classrooms at our Murray Hill location. This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has 13 classrooms, all equipped with phones, Apple iPad’s & Bluetooth speakers, a fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts, an on-site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown. Requirements

• An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
