About The Position

Kid Kare & Infant Center is seeking a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join their warm, energetic, and highly collaborative team. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire
Completion of STARS Assistant Teacher training within 12 months
CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days (training provided)
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Genuine love for working with young children

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred

Responsibilities

Create a Safe, Engaging Environment: Maintain hazard-free play and learning areas, promote cleanliness, health, and safety standards, and set up age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and imagination.
Support & Supervise Children: Ensure safety and emotional well-being at all times, and guide children through play, routines, and learning experiences.
Encourage Lifelong Healthy Habits: Model and support positive habits around nutrition, exercise, and safety.
Be a Collaborative Team Member: Partner with teachers and staff to plan activities and support classrooms, mentor new staff, and contribute to a positive workplace environment.
Administrative Support: Assist with documentation, attendance tracking, and daily reports.
Celebrate Diversity: Respect and value each child’s background, abilities, and culture.
