About The Position

Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate programs, lesson planning, and helping children with social skills. Maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent-teacher conference, and supervision of classroom volunteers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED Required
Teacher certification, TECE 1 & 2, or equivalent college courses Required
Equivalent work experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
Ability to be mobile, sit, sitting on the floor, and move around the classroom
Willingness to consent to and the ability to pass a criminal background check, and drug screening

Responsibilities

Providing developmentally appropriate programs
Lesson planning
Helping children with social skills
Maintaining the classroom environment
Supervising children
Conducting parent-teacher conferences
Supervising classroom volunteers
Create and implement lesson plans
Understand and carry out written and oral direction
Work with children one-on-one and in groups, supervising activities
Consistently plan innovative ways of keeping children actively engaged
Address the physical needs of the individual child or group
Assist students in learning their numbers, letters, shapes, and colors
Follow all Health and Safety regulations
