About The Position

In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business. Overview of Department/Team The Investment Technology team supports a portfolio of critical middle- and back-office applications, as well as the technology platforms for the Invesco Trust Company business. The team combines business analysis, engineering, and Agile delivery leadership to ensure stability, enhancement, and strategic evolution of systems that support investment operations, data management, fund administration, trust services, and operational processing. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, vendors, and technology organizations, the team delivers technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance data quality, and support regulatory and business objectives. The team is responsible for key platforms including CWp, CADIS, EREF, SREF, FundStation, and several others, driving both day-to-day support and long-term transformation initiatives across Invesco's investment operations landscape.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • All majors are welcome with an emphasis on Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills; ambitious and creative demeanor
  • Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Technical course work
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work well with others across teams with varied strengths
  • Must be able to work in Invesco’s Houston office
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.
