About The Position

Invesco is seeking driven students for a 9-week Summer Internship Program starting in June 2027. This program offers hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and exposure to the investment industry. Interns will work alongside talented teams, learn about the business, and participate in various engagement initiatives including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. Successful interns may be eligible for a full-time offer to join Invesco's Early Career Program after graduation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related field
  • A demonstrated interest in investments
  • Must be able to work in Invesco’s Atlanta office
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Experience with prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior internship in investment management is preferred but not required
  • Experience gathering and interpreting market data
  • Experience with applying AI tools across multiple domains
  • Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio or Excel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify solutions to operational problems, understand the detail, and support meetings and follow-ups for solutions.
  • Work with technology and AI tools like Copilot and agentic tooling, identifying, creating, and testing new opportunities.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to support the IFE strategy and the firm's strategy.
  • Support workstreams related to people matters on the platform.
  • Assemble the platform scorecard, track initiatives, and prepare management and board materials.
