About The Position

The Mid EA Governance Process Engineer supports the implementation and maintenance of enterprise architecture governance processes supporting CDAO initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise architecture or governance activities.
  • Active Secret security clearance required (or higher).
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command enterprise architecture, governance, or digital modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards such as DoDAF, FEAF, TOGAF, NIST, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Experience supporting architecture review boards (ARBs), governance processes, compliance assessments, and technical documentation development.
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF Foundation, Security+, PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of architecture governance documentation.
  • Assist with architecture review board activities.
  • Monitor compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure governance alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
