The ES Technician is responsible for performing emergency services and contents restoration work nationwide while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. This includes packing customers' contents, general on-location cleaning, HVAC cleaning and deodorization of facilities, assisting with the inventory of site contents, and set up of emergency services equipment, preparing contents for storage, and lifting items into storage. The role also involves Environmental Remediation, which includes the removal and disposal of hazardous waste such as asbestos, lead, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and other hazardous materials. Demolition tasks include assessment of damaged areas to determine what can be restored or returned to operation, then, removal of charred/wet debris and structural materials. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances.
