About The Position

The E-Production Specialist I visually inspects manufactured sheets for defects, then packs and labels products according to customer specifications. The role follows work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure customer orders are completed correctly, verifies instructions and packaging materials, and completes required documentation. The specialist also maintains a clean workstation, follows company health and safety policies, and meets attendance expectations.

This entry-level manufacturing position requires a high school diploma or equivalent training and/or experience. The work includes regularly standing and walking, handling objects and tools, and lifting or moving materials. Employees must ask for assistance when lifting more than 30 pounds. The role requires clean-room gowning, rubber gloves, and hair or beard coverings. Travel is not required, apart from local driving if applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to follow detailed but simple written or oral instructions using common-sense understanding.
• Ability to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure using whole numbers and common diagram forms.
• Basic understanding of quality methods, gauges, and procedures.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk and regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds; employees lifting more than 30 pounds must ask for assistance.
• Ability to meet the job's vision requirements, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
• Ability to wear a clean-room gown, rubber gloves, and hair or beard covering.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect sheets for defects and immediately notify appropriate individuals if defects are found.
• Follow required procedures to ensure customer orders are completed correctly.
• Verify work instructions.
• Confirm packaging materials and sign off on documentation.
• Apply labels to bags or boxes.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the workstation.
• Maintain good attendance in accordance with company guidelines.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
