This role is about service to the community. As part of our Pinellas County Waste-to-Energy team, you’ll help maintain the systems that turn everyday waste into usable energy, reduce landfill dependence, and support a cleaner, more sustainable future for the community we serve. The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and distributed control systems throughout the facility in a safe and professional manner. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting a 24/7 facility with a dedicated maintenance team and requires a mix of hands-on electrical maintenance, instrument calibration, and control system troubleshooting, with a strong focus on field diagnostics and problem-solving.
