About The Position

Take your next step with Saulsbury Industries! This full-time position is located in the Permian Basin on project sites. The role requires experience in document or administrative management, with Oil and Gas industry experience being preferred. The specialist will manage a high-volume workload in a team environment, focusing on tracking and maintaining client, vendor, and NDE documents, ensuring an efficient workflow. Identifying and reporting workflow delays or issues to the supervisor is a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ Oil & Gas industry experience needed.
  • Ability to work with little supervision, self-starter & motivation.
  • Ability to understand isometric drawings. (i.e., E&I, piping fitting, BOM, spec breaks)
  • Must be willing to travel, and available to spend time on project sites
  • Well organized, attention to detail & good communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and handle the pressure of multiple project group document requirements with tact.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Computer literate and competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, and Outlook required.
  • Familiar with the types of equipment used in process plants – field or vendor experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing & recordkeeping
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
  • Solid communication skills, professional attitude, and works well and in harmony with others.
  • Strong organizational skills including alphabetization and numerical filing.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent time management skills.
  • Document Control / Turnover knowledge
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to E&I WC Divisional Manager
  • Organizing Reports/documents as they come in & reviewing them for accuracy.
  • Review all inspection reports/documents for accuracy and file into turnover dossiers per area.
  • Build turnover dossiers: I&E per direction of I&E inspector.
  • Build Instrument Loop Folders
  • Track E&I Construction Progress
  • Maintain documents daily by inserting documents into turnover dossiers.
  • Maintain code books, project specifications and regulations, per QC Manual and contract!
  • Auditing the dossiers & logs to identify errors & missing reports.
  • Uploading to QC Server
  • Identify delays or issues that interfere with the workflow process and report to the Supervisor.
  • Manage Saulsbury Engineering FTP site for required projects.
