Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major e-discovery/litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated experience working in eDiscovery document review platforms such as Relativity, Clearwell, iCONECT, Casepoint, Everlaw, CaseMap, Oncue, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities.
  • Expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills.
  • Must be able to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing those needs.
  • Requires knowledge of the Government's data processing environment where the work is performed, including PC-based and virtual environments.
  • Familiarity with Electronically Stored Information (ESI) tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources required.
  • Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware and document review platforms.
  • Undergraduate degree required. Substantial significant experience may in some cases be substituted for degree requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a single high visibility large case or multiple smaller cases for one of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Divisions under the Mega contract.
  • Work closely with US Attorneys, DOJ Case Managers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Case Managers, and technical teams to discuss project requirements, schedules, budgets, and all litigation support activities for each project.
  • Manage several projects varying in size and complexity that can go through all or some of the phases of the EDRM spectrum, from investigation, intake/acquisition of documents and data (discovery), through trial support.
  • Serve as the Government's primary point of contact for all support for the case, with frequent contact with the DOJ COR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, and sometimes even opposing counsel.
  • Plan and manage all support for the case, including monitoring workflow, progress reporting, identifying and assigning staff, budget development and tracking, coordinating technical/data processing and eDiscovery support, and obtaining other required resources.
  • Coordinate with other Contractor components to deliver project support.
  • Perform an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time.
  • Ensure that proper security is maintained overall project materials, in accordance with security procedures.
