About The Position

Leidos is seeking an E-Discovery Project Supervisor to work on-sight in support of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate complex and time-critical litigation support activities, including technical/data processing support and eDiscovery activities.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of litigation support, eDiscovery procedures and resources.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including, data processing environments, office automation, internet and server-based databases, and other applications, such as Relativity or other document review platforms.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery procedures and resources.
  • Must be familiar with standard courtroom presentation packages such as Trial Director, OnCue, Casepoint and Sanction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a trial team through the entire pretrial and trial cycle, identifying and scanning exhibits, scripting with the attorneys, setting up the courtroom, operating and troubleshooting the system in the courtroom.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Trial experience very helpful.
  • Hands-on experience with standard courtroom presentation packages such as Trial Director and OnCue
  • Familiarity with standard litigation support applications such as Relativity and Everlaw
  • Experience conducting searches, creating STRs, document review, creating coding layouts, and supervising document review in Relativity.
  • Law degree, technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • For very large cases, may be directly responsible for all work in a major task area such as for all document discovery/document collection activities for a case.
  • For a case involving an out of town trial, a Project Supervisor may be the individual in charge of the out of town trial support center.
  • Provides assistance to several Project Managers on a multitude of smaller cases simultaneously.
  • For example, the Project Supervisor may be responsible for oversight of responsive/privilege review in one case, while simultaneously overseeing production of witness binders in another.
  • Coordinates and tracks daily and weekly assignments from DOJ attorneys.
  • Performs direct supervision of a variety of Contractor staff, including clerical staff and first line supervisors.
  • Maintains frequent contact with Government COR, Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency staff, etc., as well as with other Contractor components.
  • Ability to anticipate litigation support needs and develop and execute detailed plans for addressing needs at a task level.
