Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors is seeking a Route-Based E-Commerce Sales Representative to drive digital growth across a defined book of business. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing the online performance of your assigned route by promoting adoption of our e-commerce platform, engaging customers through digital channels, and identifying revenue opportunities using data and insights. This position requires a startup mindset, flexibility, and a strong sense of ownership, as you will play a key role in piloting and shaping how digital sales are executed across the organization

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence customer behavior
  • Self-starter with a proactive, revenue-driven mindset and the ability to operate independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of flexibility
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred
  • Interest in digital tools, e-commerce, and data-driven selling

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a defined route of customer accounts, driving online ordering adoption, engagement, and revenue growth
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase order frequency, improve customer consistency, and re-engage inactive or at-risk accounts
  • Promote and educate customers on Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors’ e-commerce platform, guiding them through ordering and platform capabilities
  • Utilize data, reporting tools, and customer order history to make informed product recommendations and identify incremental sales opportunities
  • Execute targeted digital outreach through email and platform engagement, supplemented by strategic outbound phone calls to drive conversion
  • Partner with field sales representatives and internal teams to support overall route performance and ensure alignment across customer touchpoints
  • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and issue resolution, ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience
  • Monitor customer activity, engagement trends, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and communicate insights to management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and outcomes within Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of processes as part of an evolving, pilot-based role
  • Develop a deep understanding of MBD’s supplier partners, their brands, products, or services to effectively answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
