The E-Commerce Sales Manager is responsible to lead and grow our online sales presence through Direct To Consumer (DTC) and Marketplace platforms. This role develops and executes ecommerce sales strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize assortment, manage pricing and promotions, and enhance the customer experience across various E-Commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce sales, data analysis, and retail collaboration, with a passion for consumer goods and an eye for emerging trends. This is a remote opportunity, preferable candidates will reside in EST or CST time zone.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce sales, digital merchandising, or retail account management, preferably in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through company owned and retail E-Commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of online pricing, promotions and assortment management.
  • Strong understanding of cross channel merchandising, inventory management and E-Commerce platform strategy.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations as they pertain to digital commerce.
  • Expertise with E-Commerce platforms and tools; including but not limited to Shopify, Amazon Vendor & Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Faire, etc.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce channel management and analytics tools (e.g, Helium 10, Stackline, Channel Advisor, Profitero, etc).
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of retail media networks (e.g., Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect).
  • Channel packaging and go-to-market strategy
  • Familiarity with digital shelf optimization and ecommerce merchandising strategies.
  • Passion for consumer goods and understanding of the evolving ecommerce landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ecommerce sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth through DTC platforms.
  • Work closely with operations and marketing partners to optimize Ecommerce assortment, pricing, marketing, promotion and conversion tactics.
  • Oversee product assortment strategies, ensuring the right mix of products, pack configurations and price points are available online. Monitor and adjust pricing and promotional strategies to remain competitive.
  • Monitor and analyze ecommerce performance metrics, customer behavior, basket behaviors and sales data to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
  • Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability, forecast demand, and optimize fulfillment efficiency.
  • Partner with internal teams including marketing, sales, and finance to align ecommerce initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Support the company’s evolving Omnichannel Commerce initiatives.
