About The Position

The E-Commerce Processor Retail position is responsible for receiving and sorting donations, identifying items suitable for E-Commerce and E-Books, accurately entering product information into the system, and preparing items for shipment to be sold in the online store. The position reports to the Store Manager, with performance evaluated annually.

Strong attention to detail when sorting, inspecting, and pricing donated items to ensure quality, proper categorization, and compliance with store guidelines.
Ability to quickly learn and apply donation policies, including identifying acceptable and non-acceptable items.
Basic understanding of safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, hazard awareness, and workplace safety procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a secure environment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and organization.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms such as ShopGoodwill, Amazon, eBay, and GWF.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Flexible availability.
Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to effectively and safely use standard office and light industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and sort donations to determine suitability for E-Commerce and E-Books, ensuring quality and compliance with store guidelines.
Properly document, package, and ship items to the E-Commerce/E-Books department, following established procedures for tracking and inventory management.
Maintain regular communication with management and supervisors to address E-Commerce needs, updates, and any process improvements.
Adhere to the "Do Not Send List" and all related guidelines to ensure only appropriate items are selected for online sales.
Develop a basic understanding of market trends and best-selling items on E-Commerce platforms to enhance item selection and profitability.
Monitor and manage inventory to ensure high-quality, sellable products are processed and listed for online sales in a timely manner.
Pack and ship online orders accurately and efficiently, following all E-Commerce Department instructions and shipping guidelines.
Assist with accepting in-person donations and step in to support Drive-Thru Ambassador duties when needed.
Provide guidance and oversight to E-Book employees as needed, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
Train store employees on how to identify valuable or high-demand items suitable for E-Commerce, fostering a more effective selection process.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
