About The Position
Gopher Sport is seeking a passionate and experienced E-Commerce Operational Specialist with a strong emphasis on the Shopify platform to join their Digital Experience Team. This role is responsible for ensuring improved, reliable, scalable, and efficient website operations on Shopify, leading to consistent digital operations, increased departmental efficiency, dependable app ecosystem integrations, and enhanced centralized reporting on core KPIs.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Digital Marketing or E-Commerce, with hands-on experience in Shopify or a related web platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience in E-Commerce, Marketing, or relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and reliability of all system integrations (ERP, PIM, Punchouts, Payment methods, etc.).
- Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities to improve core site performance (page speed, navigation, search, checkout), independent of formal project work.
- Build and elevate internal team capability in Shopify, including training, documentation, and best practice sharing to increase in-house ownership.
