About The Position

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the delivery program to ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and customer-focused operations. This role manages the success and efficiency of all delivery processes and procedures, including employee management, state and company compliance, METRC accuracy, inventory accountability, customer satisfaction, sales reporting, and personnel performance. Additionally, the E-Commerce Manager serves as the primary owner of fleet operations, ensuring company vehicles are properly maintained, licensed, inspected, and operational to support uninterrupted delivery services. This role is responsible for maintaining vehicle safety, preventative maintenance, repairs, accident reporting, and compliance with all transportation-related requirements while providing direct oversight of applicable roles within the E-Commerce department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid Nevada driver’s license and a clean driving history.
  • NV State Agent Card Required.
  • OSHA 30 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and account for all aspects of the marijuana delivery program.
  • Schedule staffing and establish PAR levels based on business demands, delivery volume, and operational needs.
  • Assess customer engagement and optimize workflows, technology, and processes to minimize cancellations, wait times, and customer dissatisfaction.
  • Monitor department transactions for errors or discrepancies impacting inventory accuracy, financial reporting, or METRC compliance.
  • Maintain METRC accuracy and partner with inventory teams during audits and discrepancy resolution.
  • Track, analyze, and report department sales metrics, profitability, operational trends, and opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Provide feedback to marketing regarding promotions, sales initiatives, and opportunities that support delivery growth and customer engagement.
  • Ensure the department is properly opened and closed at the start and end of each business day.
  • Enforce company policies, attendance expectations, and performance standards for all delivery personnel.
  • Review and delegate job responsibilities to direct reports.
  • Responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and developing new and existing team members.
  • May assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and candidate selection.
  • Create, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for delivery and pickup activities.
  • Oversee accident and incident response plans, facilitate investigations, ensure timely reporting, and proactively address operational or security concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with technology providers to ensure accurate product information, pricing, and website functionality.
  • Serve as the primary manager of the company fleet, maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing, inspections, licensing, registration, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, washes, and servicing to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely completion of vehicle safety inspections, emissions testing, accident reporting, and vehicle damage documentation.
  • Monitor delivery vehicle conditions and ensure vehicles meet company cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable traffic safety laws, company driving standards, and safe vehicle operation practices.
  • Review dash cam footage weekly to ensure drivers are adhering to safety and compliance standards.
  • Review body cam footage regularly for compliance, training, coaching, and investigative purposes while ensuring adequate storage management.
  • Provide reports, as requested, to senior leadership regarding departmental performance, fleet operations, customer satisfaction, and operational concerns.
  • Maintain the highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all customers.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable regarding state and local laws, cannabis regulations, and industry trends affecting delivery and transportation operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
