Job Description: Job Title: E-commerce Fulfillment Supervisor Department: Warehouse Pay Type: Hourly Revision Date: 3/2026 Job Summary : Responsible for overseeing shift operations of the warehouse and supervision of the workforce. Reporting Relationships: Accountable and Reports to: Director and Warehouse Managers Direct Reports: Inventory Control, Fulfillment Associate, Trainers, Warehouse Generalists, Lead Fulfillment Associate Key Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shift including but not limited to: job rotation, door assignments, re-loads, overflow trucks, loading, receiving, and picking issues. Reviews work throughout the shift and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly. Maintains warehouse sanitation and housekeeping standards and practices. Enforces safety rules, regulations, and company policies to see that they are practiced at all times. Ensures that inbound and outbound product flow meets quality standards. Informs designated employees and departments of items loaded and problems encountered. Addresses damaged product as needed. Responsible for monitoring assigned team selection numbers. This requires communicating with employees who are not meeting productivity and quality standards, and provides mentoring or additional training as needed. Conducts monthly safety meetings and monitors participation. Creates a positive work atmosphere for employees. Collaborates with designated employees and managements to solve work-related problems. Responsible for administration of quality audit and control programs to ensure that production goals and rates are maintained and improved upon. Ensures that security measures and practices are implemented and complies with all pertinent regulatory requirements. Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure that activities are performed effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads. Completes incident reports to give appropriate feedback to employees on the shift. Works with the transportation department dispatching and re-routing issues. Assists with administration and development of warehouse training and communication programs. Participates in the hiring process by conducting interviews, reviewing credentials, and making recommendations for hiring or promotion decisions. Attends departmental and company meetings. Conducts shift meetings as needed. Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines. Secondary Responsibilities and Frequency: Assigned to project work occasionally by management. Performs Fulfillment Associate tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics: Good computer skills. Good verbal communication, interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership qualities. Good writing skills in documentation and attention to detail. Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. 2 years warehouse assistant supervisory or trainer experience preferred. 2-3 years warehouse operations and distribution experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the physical requirements exerting 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. This is considered a skilled position requiring significant judgment. This is considered light to heavy work according to the Department of Labor Weight Classifications with primary functions being light in nature. Frequent to constant listening, talking, hearing, walking, standing, handling, seeing, bending, lifting of product, dealing with and influencing people. Working Conditions: Refrigerated and freezer temperatures varying from 35° to -8° and ambient. Dry warehouse temperatures. Ambient outside temperatures in dry warehouse. Busy and noisy warehouse environment with interaction with powered industrial equipment, also office conditions (climate controlled). Equipment Used to Perform Job: Insulated coat or freezer suit, office attire, clipboard, markers, hard hat, gloves or mitts, office telephone, powered industrial equipment to include: pallet jack, forklift, and reach trucks; photocopier, calculator, PC, Microsoft Excel, Windows applications.
