About The Position

As an E-commerce Driver at Hy-Vee, you're the final step in delivering a seamless Aisles Online experience. You'll be the face of Hy-Vee at the customer's door, making sure every order arrives safely, on time, and with the kind of friendly service that keeps customers coming back. From organizing and loading orders to navigating deliveries and handling payments, your work directly impacts customer satisfaction. Requirements

Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Hy-Vee with professionalism at every stop
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers in person and over the phone
Stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with limited supervision
Identify problems and find practical solutions on the fly
Navigate routes efficiently and adapt to varying delivery conditions
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions and be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and going the extra mile to make every interaction a positive one
Organize, gather, and load online orders, ensuring all items are stored at the proper temperature throughout the entire process
Deliver products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and customer delivery requests
Validate customer age and gather required information for orders containing alcohol
Collect payment, make change, and return payments and beginning cash to the store as needed
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones and process customer orders through the POS system as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of delivery vehicles, inside and out
Substitute products for customers upon request or when items are unavailable
Maintain compliance with Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies
Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed
